1. What is your role at Confex and how long have you worked here?
   I joined Confex as an Office Administrator (Central Payment) in October 2009. I send member invoices and statements for Arla & Nestlé on Central Payment. I also set up new Members/Suppliers sending login details and publishing Terms documents on the member website portal.
2. What did you do before joining Confex?
   Before Confex I worked as a Legal Secretary in a Commercial Law Firm and prior to that I was Office Manager for 7 years at a company who built swimming pools nationwide for commercial and domestic customers.
3. What do you do when you’re not at Confex?
   I love gardening, I find it very therapeutic and it is a good time to relax and reflect. In the evening I enjoy watching the hedgehogs, foxes and cubs visiting my garden they can be quite comical. Once on a very heavy rainy night a fox was slurping up worms like spaghetti all over the garden it was funny and weird all at the same time!
4. If you were able to retire tomorrow, how would you spend your time?
   Travelling to far away places walking along beaches or working with orangutans in the rainforests.
5. Who inspires you?
   Michael Portillo I enjoy watching his programmes around the world on the various train journeys.
6. What type of business would you go into, if it wasn’t wholesale?
   I would like the opportunity to visit orangutans in rainforests in Malaysia & Borneo.
7. What is the most interesting place you have visited and why?
   Mudeford Spit, lovely walks along the beaches and would be great if one could buy a beach hut!
8. What do you like about working at Confex?
   We have a great team to work with and the flexibility of working from home but still being available to Members and Suppliers when the need arises.
